Collage: More on the boaty theme…

Continuing on the them of Boats, here are few more boaty collage offerings from ‘Collage Week 6’. I quite got into this theme in the end….

I first sketched his fishing boat when it was moored in Finikounda harbour in the winter. Here it has been re-located to a slightly choppy, open sea, courtesy of artistic licence.

Below, the same boat in a different setting – again some artistic licence has been used!

This time a Koroni-based fishing boat heading for the shore……

All three paintings were created with found papers, copies of my original sketches, found Greek text, textured medium, gesso,acrylics, oil pastels and ink.
