Acrylic Painting:Week Four

On a rather wet Wednsday this week, the full group was re-united for the final morning of the Acrylics Course….We started the morning with a round of mountain tea, as a few of us were suffering with the dreaded gripi….

The gorgeous results above, were created in only four mornings of instruction (only three mornings for two of the group members who missed one week!)

Here’s Jackie with her demonstration painting of some brilliant poppies, which is pretty much finished now…

And here we are enjoying a quick coffee break inside the studio, as it poured with rain outside…

One of the fabulous finished paintings…

This artist missed a week, but has only a tiny bit more to do  to finish her piece…

Many apologies for the blurry photograph on this lovely, sunny painting…

This artist also missed one morning….but what fab flowers….

I learned a lot….and enjoyed being able to paint-along with the others….

Not bad for four mornings work eh chaps?!

Many thanks to Jackie Sherwood for so generously sharing her painting secrets and guiding us all through her painting process. To see more of Jackie’s paintings go to her website:http://www.jackiesherwood.com/

Another Acrylic Painting course is planned for January – contact me for details and dates.
