Weekly Collage: Week Two

We decided to spend a second week on the “signs and lettering” theme. This painting is based on Koroni – the letters that make up the name of the town are cut out of a Greek newspaper. I’ve also used some of my existing line drawings of a Koroni church and a typical local balcony, and merged them into the piece. I quite enjoyed doing this one and like the lively feeling it seems to have.
