A Fab day for Vassilitsi

After the many days of torrential rains lately, the on location sketching group enjoyed one of those fabulously clear and sunny, blue-sky mornings….

From our base-camp on the church plateia, we had the clearest views of the Mani coast I’ve seen for ages – particularly pretty now with the snow on the Tayetos peaks….

Vassilitsi’s a delight for drawing on location…..I spent most of the morning seeking out sketchers hidden away in the maze of back-streets… and chatting to various locals…..so didn’t manage even a quick sketch on this occasion…..but here’s one I did earlier!
