Big Boat-Little Boat

A couple of drawings of the same boat done recently in pretty Aghios Andreas harbour…

I love drawing with my left hand to warm up, prior to ‘proper drawing’ and often prefer the results.

The boat on the left was drawn with left hand in my current, everyday A4 sketchbook – a Daler Rowney Ebony Artists Sketchbook 150gsm.

The titchy boat on the right was drawn with the right hand on superior, if somewhat smaller paper – Fabriano Artistico Hot Pressed watercolour paper 300gsm – 5 x 7″.
