Boaty Blues

I treated myself to a little solo art therapy yesterday and headed off to a deserted Ag.Andreas harbour with my sketchbook….

An hour or so sketching by the harbour, plus a pleasantly hot capuccino does wonders for the spirit….

I’d been admiring a stash of papers I’d recently created in the studio as a surprise by-product of all the monoprinting I’ve been doing ….

so took some along to the harbour with me….

It’s always scary doing a ‘straight to pen‘ drawing on a ‘precious‘ piece of paper….but I went ahead and did it anyway….feel the fear and all that ……..I quite like the results so far…..and have a few ideas……
