Torn Paper Collage

This collage on canvas is larger than my usual size. It was going fairly well until I approached the end of the composition….

I auditioned several different possibilities – introducing orange and some new motifs…

But decided against that, so left the collage alone for a while. On returning to the studio later, I stumbled upon the perfect decorated paper for the job – or a scrap of it at any rate – however, the rest of that particular paper seems to have completely disappeared….not surprising you may think, as you look at the state of my work desk!

Have to clear up for a class, so hopefully the missing piece of the collage jigsaw will come to light!
