Evangelismos – Kalithea Walk

A small group of us enjoyed a fairly leisurely 15km stroll between Evangelismos and Kalithea last Saturday, 5th November, when we started the day with blue skies, sun and a few fluffy clouds. Below is the village of Homatada, which we glimpsed, but did not visit on this occasion.

There was plenty of evidence en route of olive harvesting in process…

Fabulously rich, red earth just outside Evangelismos…

This church, with it’s beautiful icons – dedicated to Aghios Konstantinos and Aghia Eleni – is situated on a main dirt track between Perivolakia and Kalithea.
