Chrani – Vigla – Kakorevma – Kafu Walk

3rd December

One week later than scheduled, having been cancelled due to bad weather, we managed to do this very pleasant walk on a brilliantly clear December day.

The pace was gentle on the outbound route, allowing for the gradual ascent up to Vigla and Kakorevma.

After a leisurely lunch break at Kafu church, we headed down to the coast again.

Despite clutching my trusty google map, a missed turning had the intrepid group boldly negotiating some rather scanty goat tracks through the olive groves, on a new short-cut back to Chrani! Well done everyone.

Despite the detour, the walk still clocked 10.8k on the GPS, with a leisurely average walking speed of 3.4 kph and just over 3 hours walking time plus lots of stops.
