Acrylic Painting: Week Two

The Acrylic Painting course continued this week with everyone getting to grips with drawing into their paintings with black, waterproof ink….

Then re-defining their darks…..

and starting to work with more opaque paint….

as well as continuing to break up the shapes they had blocked in on the first week.

The paintings are beginning to take shape before our eyes…

thanks to Jackie’s excellent instruction.

Here’s her demonstration painting near the start of the second morning….

and here it is looking fabulously energetic and full of colour at the end of the morning. To see more of Jackie’s work, go to: http://www.jackiesherwood.com/

Great work everyone – very exciting.
