Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Most canvases are stretched on 38mm bars, except smaller canvases which are on 19mm bars.

Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. On The Wall is a small original painting which features the glorious blue and white that is the signature of the Greek Islands.

It was painted as part of a group of 100 paintings entitled ‘Inspired by Greece’ in which I explored a range of themes and various mixed-media techniques.

Painted with artist’s quality acrylic paints on 300 gsm watercolour paper, the painting measures 12 x 12cm (4.75 x 4.75″).

It comes in a bright white mount measuring 23 x 23 (9 x 9″).

The painting is being sold unframed – the mount supplied fits any standard 23cm square frame.

IKEA make a 23cm square RIBBA frame which fits and is a very economical option.

On The Wall looks great hung on it’s own, in a simple white frame.

Another option is to hang it with a couple of other paintings from the same series and show them as a small story group.

Shipping

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
