Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. This is one of those bougainvillea’s which just seem to grow abundantly and effortlessly out of a small hole in the pavement. It clings to an arched doorway in a whitewashed wall near the harbour, framing a fabulous sea view. It’s high summer and the sea is beautifully blue. The sun casts a gentle shadow of the large plant on the bleached white wall.

Bougainvillea View was painted using acrylic paint and ink on watercolour paper. Layers of paint and wax were applied to give some texture in the walls and the foreground area. The finished painting was given a couple of coats of clear spray UV varnish.

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent 1st class with tracking from Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery varies according to destination.
