Having postponed week five last week, as I had the lurgy, we resumed the Drawing & Painting (Sketchbook Style) Course yesterday.
We started off by having a look at two week’s worth of homework…
Everyone had been busy ‘designing a spread’…as well as doing some extra bits and pieces.
It was great to see such beautifully painted pages, and such a variety of approach…
including the above collage made from sketches done on last week’s walk, and hand-painted papers.
The rest of the morning was spent on the serious business of sighting, or informal perspective….which can be a bit tricky to get your head around!
Here are the resulting drawings – some finished and some not. Well done everyone for hanging in there.

Hanging in there Gill….. Just spent nearly two days(!) doing my homework……. Clarion cries of “under no circumstances must that chair be moved!!!!!” Have just finished in time for the rain. All will be revealed on Friday. From a very happy drawer, painter and filler-inner-er!!!
