Wednesday Artists

The Wednesday group excelled themselves this week with the quantity and quality of their ‘homework’. Ok, so I did ask they to “draw something every day”, but it could have been a simple, small sketch. The photo below shows just a fraction of what I was presented with on Wednesday morning….

I only wish I had taken more photos, as there were pages of beautifully drawn vignettes, along with some well thought out layouts and some rather clever design ideas.

We took our coffee break inside the studio today, as it was cold and damp in the garden. Karen had made this gigantic German Cheesecake for the group, which we scoffed huge pieces of along with our coffee (or mountain tea). Delicious – many thank’s Karen. She had even gone so far as to do a drawing of the cake and made an excellent journal page out of the painting and the recipe – fabulous!
