Translucent Collage

I’ve been playing around with an exciting new collage technique which produces vibrant, brightly coloured, see-through collage…

These are a few quick try-outs I put together while experimenting…

Whilst not entirely finished, they give a good idea of the process, which is lots of fun and involves the use of proceon dyes, acrylics, oil pastels….

watercolours, glue……and paper napkins!

A clothes line in the garden comes in very handy for a bit of speed-drying…..

This one has been taken a step further with some acrylic stamping, and has one more layer to go, but I couldn’t wait to photograph it!

I’ll be teaching this fab method in a new One Day Collage Workshop in June.

No previous art experience needed – just a willingness to get messy!
