I initially discovered Gill on Instagram, and love her work inspired by my favorite part of Greece, the southern Pelopponese. Ordered first some prints on Etsy, and loved them so much we asked her to do a commission on our favorite view, from the beach house we stay whenever we visit Finikounda. Sent her some photos, and she also came by for lunch and a peek at the view when we were there in September. She sent us some drafts along the way just to make sure she had the right idea. We simply love the result. The simple sketch, yet filled with details that leave no doubt this is our view. And I especially love the way she managed to create a panoramic view even though she had to put the islands a bit closer together to fit in the picture.
