Stamping Therapy

As a bit of respite from struggling with my acrylic paintings, I decided to do a quick bit of therapeutic stamping…

Fishing out some ‘stamps I’d made earlier’, I quickly whipped up loads of decorative papers. Some are finished – others await another layer. I’ll use these in future collage work, or maybe cover some boxes or sketchbooks with them.

After my little stamping spree, I felt clearer to return to the more serious business of acrylic painting, and could look at my paintings afresh. What joy.

If you’re interested in learning to create your own hand-made stamps, and find out how to use them….I’m running a ‘Stamping Fantastic‘ workshop or four mornings starting 22nd March. Email me for info.
