Stamping Fantastic

The brand new Stamping Fantastic workshop got underway this morning….

We started off stamping with everyday items like ear-plugs; lids; corks; foam beads and a whole pile of other stuff…..

First we worked with dye based ink pads and pigment ink pads – to get a feel for the ink…

The next step was to begin mounting our stamps – using three different types of mount…

We then switched to acrylic paint….

and finished off with some proceon dyes….

Due to the high winds, we took our cofffee inside – venturing out for a quick bit of sunshine….

The serious business of stamping then resumed after the break….

and everyone continued to experiment with the multitude of materials and available….

This morning was all about creative play…..

And play they did….lots of lovely patterns were produced – a great start to the workshop.
