Stamping Fantastic (week 2)

We started the morning by taking a peek at some stamping that had been done at home during the week…

and had a look at some stamps people had made and brought along to show the group…

We then got on with the serious business of incising craft foam…or fun foam…or funky foam as it is variously known….

to create some exciting new stamps…..

then loaded up our rollers with acrylic paint…..or tapped them on an ink pad…and took the stamps for a test drive….

Stamping, of course, produces tons of images pretty quickly….

so it takes no time at all to create a whole wardrobe of hand-made stamps…

The A4 stamped sheets come in pretty handy for collage work….

Although the stamped envelopes, matching stamped paper and glass jars  have a more obviously practical use…..

Here’s the group hard at work cutting up an old flip flop for stamping purposes….

And here’s today’s extra group member relaxing in the garden…
