Windy Day is a small original acrylic painting inspired by the mediterranean sea in early spring. It was created using a mono print technique, then worked into with acrylic paint and inks to give added depth and texture.
The painting measures 12 x 12cm (4.75 x 4.75″) and comes with a white mount measuring 23 x 23 (9 x 9″).
The mount fits perfectly inside a standard square frame (such as a 23cm square IKEA RIBBA) making a simple and economical framing solution.
The painting was part of a series of 100 paintings I recently completed on the theme ‘Inspired by Greece’.
It could be hung as part of a group of small paintings with others from this series. It also looks great displayed on its own, either on the wall or on a small easel.
All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
Quintessentially Greek… whitewashed walls, blue pots, red geraniums and an old electricity meter! This was drawn on-location in Vasilitsi in southern Messinia, but it could equally have been a scene found in the Greek islands.
