Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Most canvases are stretched on 38mm bars, except smaller canvases which are on 19mm bars.

Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. This Original collage painting is a lively, artistic snapshot of Greek fishing boats in action, inspired by typical everyday activity down by the harbour when the boats come in. The drawings come from my sketchbooks and have been re-purposed, painted and layered over the background which was created from carefully selected found papers. Some judicious paintwork unites the whole and the edges are finished off with a slightly distressed blue border.

The completed artwork was given several coats of protective matte medium and finally a coat of transparent UV varnish.

The painting measures 14.5 x 21cm (5.75 x 8.25″) otherwise known as A5.

It was created on 300gsm card and will be sent to you unframed, ready for you to mount and frame as you wish.

 

Shipping

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
