This old agricultural building, just outside Harakopio, is typical of many in the area and all over Greece. They provide shelter from the summer sun and a place to rest during the winter olive harvest. In days gone by, families often used to retreat to these small houses during the hot summer months. I loved that this old workshirt was still hanging in the doorway of this house, as if waiting for the farmer to return… The painting is made with fluid acrylics and ink in paper.
