Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. May Flowers is a cheerful original mixed media painting with vibrant colours reminiscent of a sunny spring day in the Mediterranean countryside.

The background was created with a monoprint process which was then overpainted here and there with  translucent acrylics. The flowers and foreground were cut and torn from my extensive collection of hand-decorated papers.

The whole piece has a lovely mixture of colour and texture which comes from using a variety of techniques in the creation of the hand-decorated papers.

This mixed media collage painting measures 24 x 23cm (9.5 x 9″)

It was created on 300 gsm watercolour paper using archival matte medium and artists’ quality acrylics and finished with a coat of clear spray UV varnish.

It is available unframed and unmounted so you can frame/mount as you prefer.

Shipping

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
