Stretched Canvas Print version
A ready to hang, professionally printed and stretched giclée canvas print. All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Most canvases are stretched on 38mm bars, except smaller canvases which are on 19mm bars.

Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. Cut Flowers is a cheerful little piece of original art with vibrant colours reminiscent of a sunny spring day in a Greek village courtyard.

The background of the painting was created with a monoprint process which was then overpainted here and there with additional translucent acrylics. Background colours include a variety of delicious blues and turquoise which merge with a lively spring green.

The flowers and stripes were cut from my extensive collection of hand-decorated papers.

The whole piece has a lovely mix of textures that come from using a variety of techniques in the creation of the decorated papers.

This mixed media collage painting measures 21 x 21cm (8.25 x 8.25″) and is available unframed and unmounted.

It was created on watercolour paper using archival matte medium and finished with a coat of clear spray UV varnish.

Shipping

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
