Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Most canvases are stretched on 38mm bars, except smaller canvases which are on 19mm bars.

Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. An original mixed media artwork on a small canvas – made with a combination of techniques including monoprint, acrylic painting and a collage of hand-decorated papers.

This little canvas was inspired by the fragments of pots I found in my studio garden – the remains of a traditional pottery industry that used to thrive in the area, until the 1970’s, when metal containers did away with the need for clay pots.

The square canvas measures 15 x 15 cm (approximately 6 x 6″).

The sides are painted blue to complement the artwork and it comes ready to hang.

The whole piece has been finished with several layers of clear protective sealant and a transparent UV varnish.

Shipping

All original artwork is protectively packaged and carefully wrapped, then sent with tracking from either the UK or Greece. You will be notified by email when the parcel ships. Delivery normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
