Fine art giclée print on premium cotton canvas (unstretched)
A top quality, rolled canvas print – perfect for stretching or framing yourself. All prints have been specially designed to fit standard size wooden stretcher bars. We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. This canvas print is from a collage-painting which depicts a typical street scene in a Cycladic island. A low roofed, whitewashed house with faded blue door, small windows and a bright red geranium in a blue pot at the door. Tiny scraps of Greek text peek through the lower part of the image.
Packaging – hand rolled in protective tissue paper, unstretched canvas is shipped in an extra thick cardboard tube.
Delivery – all canvas prints are made to order, so please allow up to 14 days delivery in the UK and US. For Europe and the rest of world allow 21 days. Orders are dispatched using either courier or recorded mail and have tracking.
Care – do not hang in direct sunlight.
Quintessentially Greek… whitewashed walls, blue pots, red geraniums and an old electricity meter! This was drawn on-location in Vasilitsi in southern Messinia, but it could equally have been a scene found in the Greek islands.
