Stretched Canvas Print version

All artwork has been specially designed to continue around the edge of the canvas (gallery/museum wrap) except where it didn’t suit the image – in which case the sides of the canvas are white. Most canvases are stretched on 38mm bars, except smaller canvases which are on 19mm bars.

Rolled Canvas Print version

We allow for full gallery wrap on 38mm stretcher bars: the image continues around the sides for a seamless look, rather than being mirrored which is the usual practice. You can frame it behind glass in a standard size frame or have it professionally stretched onto wooden stretcher bars to create a ready-to-hang canvas. Professionally designed & printed calendar with 13 images taken from recent work in the studio. “Village Colour” is a new series of original paintings, featuring sketches from our local villages in the south Peloponnese. This range was created with a mixed-media combo of inks, watercolour, fluid acrylic, candle wax and Inktense pencils, working on a lovely, gritty base of transparent gesso. The focus is on layers and texture – using splattered paint, wax resist, and energetic marks to push the paintings a little further than the initial line and wash. Unusually, there is no handwriting, Greek text, collage, or postage stamps in sight!

Additional Information

Individually shrink-wrapped by the printer with a cardboard insert, calendars are sent out in a sturdy protective mailer. Delivery then normally takes around 1-2 weeks.
