Plein Air Sketching

Thought it was about time I posted some of my own artwork on the blog! After a bit of a break, I’ve recently been out and about again with my sketching buddy Jackie Sherwood….

I could spend days…weeks…sketching in the Monastery grounds – it’s so peaceful and there are so many drawing possibilities….

Some of our collective works for the morning. One of the Nuns is an artist and paints in oils and acrylic. Several of her works are for sale in their lovely little shop – she also paints on stones and gave us the low-down on where she buys her art supplies!
