On Location in Vassilitsi

Vassilitsi was our location this week. After the usual pre-drawing warm-ups in the group, we split up and sought out various shady spots for the morning’s work.

The pretty courtyard of a friend’s old village house provided some fabulous subject matter for a few of the group…

What more could a painter ask?

Others chose to stay by the church, where there was plenty of decorative detail to focus on…

Or on the street by the kafeneon – with this compelling view of roof tiles and the lovely old chimney.

Lovely work today chaps – well done indeed.

  1. Lovely drawings. I wish I could have been there but there are compensations to being here and no lack of ‘drawables’!

  2. I’m sure you’re spoilt for choice over there. Missed you on Thursday in Vassilitsi John, but thinking of you sketching solo Italian style.
