On Location – Ag. Theo Monastery

It had been several months since I’d been to Aghoi Theodori Monastery….

and it was good to return to this remote,  peaceful place.

Plenty of shade was provided by the huge oak and carob trees….

as well as the building itself….

but it was the 1st day of August…..

so, of course, it was HOT…..

There was also plenty of insect-life to contend with…..

but the stalwart group of ‘on location’ sketchers manfully drew on….

producing this fabulous collection of sketchbook work during the morning….

the little chap, above, was drawn during the week, from a photograph…

Well done everyone for your dedication to your art.
