We just added a total of twenty four new Fine Art Canvas Reproductions to the website! That’s way too many to show you in one blog post, so here’s a couple of hot favourites:
Chapel – Koroni Monastery is a beautiful, semi abstract, acrylic mixed-media picture incorporating Greek text. The original was painted a little while ago and now, due to popular demand, we’ve made it available as a canvas reproduction. The chapel in the painting is indeed the one at the end of the garden in Koroni Monastery, near the tower. The reproductions, which are giclee printed on cotton canvas and stretched on pine bars, are so good most people can’t quite believe they’re prints. They come in three sizes from only £55 and make a beautiful gift for anyone who has a soft spot for Greece.
‘Shored Up’ is now available in three sizes from a very cute 10 x 12″ (25.4 x 30.5cm) – this photo shows the medium size. Based on a drawing of one of the boats down at Koroni harbour, shored up is a jaunty piece of colourful canvas art which would be equally at home in a modern living room, light hallway, or a children’s bedroom. We were particularly pleased with the colours on this canvas – they’re beautifully vibrant and cheerful. The original painting, created with layers of Greek text, tissue paper and acrylic paint, is also available HERE.
‘Pots at the Door’ is a personal favourite of mine. The door in question is in Koroni, just along from Antiques at the Harbour… It comes in three sizes (the medium size is shown here). The original of this painting was created on a vintage postcard – hence the traces of handwriting and postage stamps in the background. I also made a little video showing some of the stages in the creative process of this painting….
