Mixed Media – Week Four

Some of the mixed media group had been doing some own-time cutting and sticking at home during the week….

and turned up yesterday with some nicely finished books and boxes…

others had been busy making more decorative papers for use in class today….

These gorgeous papers were quickly put to use – ruthlessly torn up and carefully applied to boxes…..

which, as you can see, is a bit of a messy… and also sticky process…

Here’s the fabulous work they produced today….

Pausing only briefly, for a quick coffee in the sun, the intrepid mixed-media group got to work on producing a professional collection of decorative boxes…

covered notebooks, and a few more accordion sketchbooks….

Some students concentrated on making more papers – so they could finish off their boxes later at home…

This giant box was a labour of love, which was patiently worked on throughout the morning….

I really LOVE all these boxes, notebooks and sketchbooks – Paperchase eat your heart out! Congratulations ladies – fabulous products.

  1. Thanks Gill for another great course I have really benefited from doing the course a second time! Bit more adventurous with colours and effects particularly having the Acrylics course under my belt as well.

  2. What a great, messy, fun course it was – thank you Gill. Your courses are a delight, with so much encouragement, and so many smiles :)
