Logga – Neraidhovrisi – Adhriani Walk

Despite my hilly-warnings, ten intrepid hill-walkers turned up yesterday morning for the hike up to Neraidhovrisi from Logga…

There was much stopping to admire the flowers along the way….

and time to explore the old houses at Neraidhovrisi…..

before heading over to Adhriani….

The sun was in and out all day….and rain clouds threatened at one point….

so the the timely kafeneon stop in Adhriani was much appreciated….

There was a little traffic in the village as we were leaving…..

A snap of some ‘Italian Men’…..

and a photo taken from the return track, of beautiful views towards Vounaria that really doesn’t do it justice…..

it’s all downhill from here….(well, almost!)…..and yes, that really is a candelabra in his hand!

This lovely new walk clocked 12.9 kilometres. We were back in Logga taking refreshment by 3.30pm, having stopped here and there to re-group and sniff the flowers along the way – a lovely Spring day.

  1. Thank you Gill. After too long a rest from the “Saturday Stroll” I enjoyed the stroll, the scenery and the company enormously.
