Homework and The Picture Plane

The Wednesday drawers & painters excelled themselves with the quality and the quantity of their homework this week, turning up with an exciting collection of newly completed sketchbook pages, plus some of their own projects…..

After a brief homework critique, we moved onto a discussion and demonstration of the picture plane, with everyone completing a successful graphite drawing of their own hand in a rather difficult, foreshortened pose underneath the picture plane.

Fortified by coffee, biscuits, oranges and Idi’s fabulous chocolates, they then produced another drawing, again using the picture plane as an aid.

Everyone worked very hard today, with some very good results all round  – Well Done.
