Finikounda Carnival

It was a gloriously sunny day on Sunday 10th March, for the Finikounda carnival event…

Following the mock-wedding of two years ago, and the mock-christening last year….

this year’s stage was a ‘taverneion’ set in the Greece of 2050….

After the performance, the dancing kicked off….

with the fabulous Finikounda dancing group – led by Agis….

This lady was giving away free souflaki and bread to those gathered around the cafes & bars….

A fab day with friends – filled with sunshine, ouzo-meze, a little dancing and διασκέδαση!

  1. Brill photos Gill – definitely caught the spirit of the day. Promised myself that next year will definitely go.
