February Seaside Sketching

Did these sketches in Koroni the other day with my sketching buddy Jackie Sherwood. This was our first sketching outing in a while, and we narrowly missed a huge downpour as we walked down from our first location at Aghios Nikolaos Church. We had fun painting all the rusty boat paraphanalia down by the harbour, and I’d like to go back to do some more rust drawings again soon. A few days after this there was a huge storm overnight, and the seafront was trashed – rocks, seaweed and rubble everywhere – a  roof had even blown off one of the seafront cafes.
