Exploring Line & Texture

The extremely heavy rains of the last couple of days have seen me battoning down the studio hatches for hours on end…

and teasing out new ways of bringing together two strands of my work…

specifically – Line and Texture….

This orange flower piece combines monoprint with transparent collage and transfer print techniques…

whilst the blue Koroni scene (unfinished) combines transparent collage with a rollered ground…

and this version is a reverse-transfer-print on a beautifully textured sea-green decorated paper…

I’ll almost be sorry when it stops raining!
