Evangelismos-Perivolakia-Kalithea Walk

Rain was forecast and there were indeed a few spots on the windscreen as I drove over to Evangelismos yesterday. It had looked great at 8am when I had decided to go ahead…..anyway….off we went….

The dirt tracks were not too muddy considering recent rainfall, but I did substitute a short stretch on the main road, for the usual inland mud-bath route between Evangelismos and Perivolakia…..

We passed this rather large bee-city by the side of the road….

We took a mini-break at the Church of Konstantinos & Eleni, which offers this splendid view of Kalithea….

and picked up some gardening tips from this chap in Perivolakia – his tomato plants are starting to flower in their individual poly-greenhouses…

Speaking of flowers….

It feels a bit like Spring….
