Having started the course last week by drawing and painting fruits & vegetables…in week two of the current Drawing & Painting (Sketchbook Style) Course, we focused on rather more man-made objects….
We were two students down today….but here are the fabulous home-work studies of fruit & veg done by the others after the week one lesson….
Great eh?
and here’s today’s class work…..of the existing three…plus one new member.
These slightly disjointed, but fabulously characterful line drawings were drawn ‘blind’ – with eyes following the outline of the objects (mugs & keys) 100% of the time, whilst not looking at the paper.
The beautifully drawn and painted keys, however, were rendered in a more traditional manner.
Very nicely drawn and painted keys and formatted pages guys – well done.

Ah! Such fond memories. I did not realise at the time quite how life transforming those keys would be!
Seems like only yesterday, John. Hope you’re having a great time Sicily-Sketching.
Fear not Miss . . . . I dare not return to school without a reasonably full sketch-book!
