Cutting and Sticking

Another cut-and-stick collage (technical term!), that emerged after the ‘Cut Flowers’ group….

I started with the background, which was a lovely, watery monoprint that was rather suggestive of sea and sky….and the boat idea sort of flowed from there….

I LOVE auditioning my huge hoard of hand-decorated papers to find the perfect scraps for a piece. Decided to crop the finished picture to a pleasing, square format.
