Collage: Theme Eight

Steps and Gates was the collage theme this week. Here’s my first piece, which is more of a mixed-media painting than a collage really – most of the papers having disappeared under layers of acrylic, gesso, oil pastel and ink as I went for the crumbling plaster look! I like the way glimpses of Greek text still show through in the garden gate though.
