Akritohori, Kaplani and Zizani walk

A very pleasant walk on the last day of April, led by Linda from Grizokambos, up the main road to Akritohori, along the dirt road to Kaplani and on towards Zizani.

After a stop for lunch at a small church above Zizani, we returned via the village, down the beautiful cypess tree lined valley that ends at Gryzokambos.

The walk was 13.7k on a mixture of asphalt, cement roads and dirt tracks and took three hours 24 minutes (walking time).

Adding on another hour and a bit for stops, the whole walk took four hours and thirty five minutes.

Our average speed was rather fast today for some reason ‘though, at 4 kilometres per hour.
