Acrylic Painting – Continuation Class
Today a brand new acrylic continuation class kicked off with the lovely Jackie Sherwood….
The morning started with a review of Jackie’s painting method and a bit of general discussion…
Soon, everyone was busily painting away…..
blocking in and breaking up areas of colour….
There was a brief pause for a coffee in the garden….
then it was right back to work…
Everyone was very quick and just got down to business….
These are the paintings at the end of the first morning….
Jackie ended the morning by introducing four exciting new techniques that can be incorporated into the underpainting should we so wish…

Hooray….I’m glad you think so….seeing your work up on the screen just gives that bit of distance to appreciate it and see it without the internal critic butting in. I look forward to seeing it again at the end of the next session.
Me too! I really thought I’d produced a mess, but it does look a bit better in the photo. Thanks Gill and Jackie for fun and very informative morning – looking forward to next week :)
