Accordion Books

The Mixed Media group were very busy this week with a little design work….

After two weeks of splashing and scraping paint, and churning out piles of lovely decorative papers, the rulers, cutting boards and scalpels came out today….

After a brief demo and quite a bit of measuring, folding and fighting with double sided cellotape, some beautiful books started to appear……

By the end of the morning, a gorgeous collection of accordion notebooks and folded sketchbooks had materialised out of a pile of cardboard and paper….

Each one, an original hand-made art-book…

Each one, with it’s own personality…..

Each one with great attention to detail….

And each collection in the style of it’s creator. An excellent morning’s work ladies – Well done indeed.
